Vyzhnytsya is a small Carpathian town. The wonderful beauty of the surrounding mountains and forests, the rapid Cheremosh in combination with the original architecture of Austrian times, makes it a real pearl of the Carpathian part of Bukovina.
It is rich in nature monuments located within a day walk area. So all day we will spend on the nature.
Mount Nimchych - one of the most picturesque place in the Carpathian. From here opens a magnificent landscape to the mountain valley through which the stormy River Cheremosh flows.
Nearby Nimchych are the most interesting and beautiful sights of the Bukovynian Carpathians.
First of them are Bukovyna's Stonehenge - Protyatyi Stones. It is an amazing natural formation, these are large rocks scattered among the beech forest. The most valuable memento here is the ten-meter stone arch Sokolyne Oko (Falcon's eyes). It is named because the stone arch is very reminiscent of the eye. Wonderful place!
Here in the summer you can ride quad bikes and horses, in the winter on skiing.
Next stop will be Bukovynski Waterfalls. On the River Cheremosh near Nimych there are 7 waterfall. It is a fantastic natural attraction. All waterfalls are different with different height from 3m. until 18m..
Also on the River Cheremosh you can try rafting.
We will have a delicious ukrainian picnic on the nature.
