  • In the Precarpathian is the waterfall "Maiden tears" - a unique travertine waterfall, the basis of which is moss, which grew hundreds of years, died, stones and caused the emergence of subsequent generations of the same moss. The waterfall is very picturesque - from the rock near the  Dniester hovers a huge 3,5 - 4 m) travertine boulders, across the entire area of which drain and fall drops of water. These droplets, going together, formed a stream that runs to the Dniester itself. The name of the waterfall comes from the fact that the dropping droplets resemble tears.
