The city Lviv is named after Prince Leo I of Galicia, son of the Lviv founder King Daniel of Galicia. The city has never changed its name.

- Yaremche is the most famous climatic health resort of the Precarpathian area, the touristic (travel) center of Ivano-Frankivsk region and the whole Hutsulshchyna. It is located among picturesque mountains and on the riverside of the river Prut at the altitude of 550-585 meters above sea level.

- Kolomyia is the center of the social, cultural and educational life of Precarpathian area, the capital of the Pokuttya land. This city impresses both its guests and local people by its vivid museums, incredible historical, cultural and architectural monuments. This city has saved its original architectural charm of a European city, having been built at the turn of the XIX-XX centuries. One of the well-known monuments of this city is a Church of the Annunciation of the Blessed Virgin Mary, also called Spaska. It was built in 1587 and is considered to be one of the oldest wooden churches in Galicia. An old iconostasis of the XVIII century was preserved in the church.
